Hi Felipe! Yeah this LP was released in 1983 by El Fantasma del Paraíso but the stuff came from a demo recorded in April, 1978. I think the takes are not the same as the ones used in their 1978 EP. At least the "Viva el metro!" take is different.

Well, if you mean blogs, I mentioned barcelona80s blog some time ago but this one

http://nuevaola80s.blogspot.com/

has a wider spectrum of the Spanish scene in the late 70s and 80s (mostly new wave but also punk and some 'rock urbano'. Texts in Spanish. For more more HC punk there's some other good blogs around... If what you meant was sites with info, for the NW bands there's some sites around that I know but again in Spanish
Hope it's useful...
Saludos,
Fernando :)

PS More Marie & Garçons s'il vous plait! :D

The Shit-fi article was mentioned in the Rockcelona and Basura posts if memory serves so I didn't see the need to mention it again, but anyway I didn't know who the author was so - congrats Stuart, that's a great article! Pity that it stops in '79...

Now a couple of reccomendations on early Spanish punk. 2 mostly unknown pieces that you don't see around in blogs, btw. First, I think possibly the best 77 punk sound was achieved by Último Resorte in their early 1981 demo (released in 1994 as the Post Mortem LP) which is how they sounded in 1980. Some songs are pretty unfinished but has fantastic guitar, sorta Rezillos-Dogs-Ramones style with female vocals (hi Silvia!). Better than their later UK82 influenced stuff (even tho I like it too). Another one is the great LP "Miedo" by PVP (1982), again it sounds more 1980 than 82 but it's a classic with the originality that most of the 1982 bands lacked, haha. I never quite liked the voice of the singer but the LP is great anyway.
Now I'm going for that impressive SIB post you just made!! And I'm looking forward to those Garçons!!
Thanks, cheers,
Fernando :)
