Offenders - 1990 - We Must Rebel LP (US)
.
This record starts off well enough with "Fight Back" - an anthemnic opener and one of the Offenders' better songs - but I'm not really into the rest of it... Maybe it's the recording quality; the snare is so much in the background that it often sounds like the drummer is only playing cymbols, and the guitar sound is really thin. But I think the songs don't really have much to offer anyway - it seems like "tuneless thrash" for the sake of playing fast. Luckily the Offenders redeemed themselves on the next record.

I always dig this band. All their stuff is good. Worth checking out (as I am sure you know Felipe! - I am addressing unfamiliar readers) is their 7" - sounds unlike their later stuff... really cool release.
Did you ever hear Blink 182, Felipe? Great band, an all time fave of mine. Please post some Blink 182. Real punk rock. Punk rock in it's highest form, for sure. Very intelligent - almost philosophical.
Cheers!
yeah, really like their single too...
about the blink 182, sorry James, but i don't have anything from them
Hi Felipe,
Something got lost in translation! I HATE Blink 182!! Frat boys and jocks are the antithesis of punk rock.
Cheers!
thank god for that heheh
blink is awful
then who the fu.... posted that coment james...?
by the way this album is from 83 not 90'
That KFTH guy is a dumbass. This album shreds. Oh, and Blink 182 are Disney punk. Nothing says punk is dead louder than Stink 183.
